Through a unique agreement with Barclays Bank PLC, A1 offer a combined company formation and bank account service.  This means that as well as completing the formation of your new company, we will also help you apply for a bank account.

It's so simple. You will be phoned by our Barclays Bank PLC team within 48 hours of the company’s incorporation. A  convenient time will be arranged for your welcome meeting at a branch of your choice, giving you the opportunity to meet your Local Business Manager and discuss your requirements. All company paperwork, together with the bank account application in an encrypted electronic format, will have been sent by A1 to Barclays, so all you need is your ID. In most cases, the account details will be available at the meeting.

Once your account is opened, just email your account number, sort code and company name  to  barclays@a1companies.com. As soon as confirmation is received from the bank, we will credit the card you used to place the order. To order a new company with a bank account, simply take the option of limited company with bank account or if you would like further information, please contact us via our enquiry form.

Bank accounts are also available for Off the Shelf companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships.

There are free local seminars where you’ll be able to test your business idea safely, get practical tips in starting-up, and network with other business start-ups.  Barclays have a range of experts in accountancy, marketing and law who are available to meet with you free of charge and with no obligation, to discuss your needs.  They can also offer you a comprehensive range of business products and services, including borrowing, insurance, financial planning, backup for key business data, and business management software.
