Through our arrangement with Barclays, A1 offer an integrated company formation and bank account application service.  This means that as well as completing the formation of your new company, we will also help you apply for a bank account.

It's so simple. You will be phoned by Barclays within 48 hours of the company’s incorporation. A  convenient time will be arranged for your welcome meeting at a branch of your choice, giving you the opportunity to meet your dedicated Barclays Business Manager and discuss your requirements.

Once your account is opened, just email your account number, sort code and company name  to  barclays@a1companies.com. As soon as confirmation is received from the bank, we will credit the card you used to place the order. To order a new company with a bank account, simply take the option of limited company with bank account or if you would like further information, please contact us via our enquiry form.

Bank accounts are also available for Off the Shelf companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships.  

Barclays will appoint a Business Manager, dedicated to business in your area.  They will take time to get to know you and to understand what you want to achieve.  They are happy to advise you on the most appropriate banking and business solution for your needs.  Barclays provides an award-winning team of qualified Business Managers who will help you with any banking requirements over the phone throughout the daytime, evenings and weekends.

1. Available for individuals setting up their first business bank account for a business within its first 12 months of trading. There is no charge for standard transactions for 12 months with our standard Business Start-up Package. There is no charge for standard transactions for 18 months if Barclays Business Essentials , Barclays Business Essentials Plus or Barclays Business Manager packages or the  CREDITFOCUS Pro service are purchased at the time of opening the account. There is no charge for standard transactions for 2 years if either Barclays Business Essentials , Barclays Business Essentials Plus or Barclays Business Manager packages are subscribed to together with the CREDITFOCUS Pro service within 3 months of your account being opened. Subject to 12 months minimum subscription. This is only available to new businesses opening their account with Barclays. This applies to everyday Sterling and debit and credit transactions and the maintenance fee. Please note accounts must be active.
